lyrics
Life sets in
Bloodlines corrode
Loved ones leave
Drag their bones
Life sets in
Bloodlines corrode
I killed my son
And dragged his bones
To the creek where they met
I made a new home for my misguided child
Then I left him alone
I can’t take much more
Guilt creeped up to settle the score
I just had to protect our lineage
From something as vile as this
Life sets in
Bloodlines corrode
I killed my son
And dragged his bones
To the creek where they met
I made a new home for my misguided child
Then I left him alone
I think I’ll come clean
I’ll spill everything
I tried to forget
I want to forget
I am seven miles away from a good night’s rest
Still I’d rather rot in silence than repent Leon’s death
As I stumble through the snow on the way their front porch
I am overcome by fear at what awaits behind door
I can hear two voices screaming
I turned the knob and slowly crept inside
On the kitchen floor he’s kneeling
And she’s there behind him with a kitchen knife
She puts the knife to his throat
“I demand an answer”
Lowers his head in prayer
Then I cut out the cancer
Did i cut out the cancer?
Try and find a screamo release with cooler guitar work. It's unfair though to just mention Miller's guitar work as all three members have fresh and innovative ideas. Greaver
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
A post-hardcore megalith from the UK: churning guitars, spacey arrangements, and explosive vocals both screamed and sung. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2019
Polish trio Melisa combine elements of noise rock, grindcore, mathcore, and sludge with lyrics that balance between poetic and political. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 21, 2022
